A Bit About Me
I grew up in suburban New Jersey and it wasn’t until the summer after my sophomore year of highschool that I caught the farming bug after frivolously following a friend to a CSA farm in Maryland. I proceeded to study sustainable food and agriculture at Stanford University with a minor in creative nonfiction writing. I became fascinated by small scale and urban farms and the role they play in food access and education. The viability and benefits of urban agriculture became the focus of my senior thesis as well as my post graduate pursuits. All the while I continued to produce writing and media projects focused on environmental themes. I hope to continue using storytelling, education, and advocacy to facilitate deeper connections with the environment, our food, and each other.
